Mary Jo's Performing Arts Academy has provided a place for my daughter to discover hr life's passion - the performing arts. The expertly trained staff helped plant the seeds of creativity and provided nurturing along with the perfect environment for her talent to grow. Simply stated MJPAA has helped her find her VOICE!

I wanted to let you know how much Annie loves dancing. She truly adores all her teachers, and we can see so much growth in her not only in dance but maturity as well. She is around the older girls a lot and I have to say what a great group of girls that you have. The older girls seem to be so genuine with the younger kids and they truly lead by example. Thank you so much for setting the standards high on education, strong character, and work ethic. We truly feel this is Annie's second home and your dedication and philosophy is what keeps Mary Jo's top notch!

Becoming a member of company was something that I strove for as a young dancer. Later, knowing that I was a part of an elite team gave me the constant motivation to improve. Universal Movement provided me a home away from home, where my teammates became my closest friends, and where I had mentors and teacher who could guide me in the right direction. I cherish the memories that I made in my ten years as a company member, and I am grateful for the opportunities that it gave me to grow, both within the dance world, and in my academic endeavors.

Currently in production for my company's NY premiere, I find myself daily thanking the faculty at MJPAA for the work ethic, sense of professionalism, discipline, and training I received while there. from the age of 8, I gained not only expert instruction but a family and set of mentors that continue to guide me to this day. I learned as many lessons outside the classroom as I did in.
