Joe is an educator for the Hillsborough County School System. Since 2000, he has taught violin, viola, cello, string bass, and guitar to numerous students. He currently teaches orchestra at Sgt. Smith Middle School in Tampa and is an All-County clinician for bass players in Hillsborough. He received his Bachelor’s degree from USF in Music Education and studied Jazz with one of the finest bassists in Florida, Mark Neuenschwander.

Joe has been performing in the Tampa Bay Area with prominent bands and musicians since 1992. He was a session artist for Rock n ‘Roll Hall of Fame member and founder of Jefferson Airplane, Marty Balin. He continues to work as a theater musician for local professional theatre companies. We are excited to welcome Joe to our music faculty here at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy.
