Wiggle & Giggle Camps and Shining Stars Camps
We do not have a uniform requirement for these camps in the summer. Students can wear comfortable clothing they can move in… shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, etc. Please no flip flops or dresses. Dance clothes/leotards are welcome but no tights please. Dance shoes are not required; however, ballet shoes and jazz shoes are acceptable in these camps. Long hair should be pulled into a ponytail & short hair should have clips to keep hair out of the face.
Broadway Musical Theater Class, Musical Theater Workshops and Vocal Classes and Workshops
There is not a uniform requirement for this camp, but please keep in mind that these workshops and classes may include choreography, therefore the students will need to be dressed for movement classes. Dance shoes are not required; however, jazz shoes, pedinis, etc. can be worn. No flip flops please.
Florida Dance Jam (FDJ) Intensive Workshops
Female – Solid color leotard, tights and all dance shoes. Must have leotard and tights for ballet class. Solid color bra top and booty shorts may be worn.
Male – Fitted solid colored t-shirt, black jazz pants, black bike shorts or male convertible tights.
Ballet and jazz shoes are required.
Hair must be secured off the neck and a bun must be worn for all ballet classes. Optional dance attire will be discussed on the first day of Workshops.
Ballet Workshops
Female – Black MJPAA embroidered leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, (Ballet skirts and ripstop bloomers may be worn as an additional accessory).
Male – White fitted T-shirt, black jazz pants, black bike shorts, or male black convertible tights. Black or white socks, Ballet shoes.
Workshop will include other genres, so please bring appropriate shoes.

Creative Dance Classes
Our uniform requirement for these classes during the school year is:
Female – burgundy leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Students joining our Academy for summer may use a solid-colored leotard they already own.
Male – White fitted T-shirt, black shorts, black track/jazz pants, or black bike shorts, black socks and black ballet shoes. Students joining our Academy for summer may use a solid colored t-shirt and shorts they already own.
Tumbling Classes
Our uniform requirement for these classes during the school year is:
Female – burgundy leotard, pink or tan tights, black jazz shoes. Students joining our Academy for summer may use a solid-colored leotard they already own.
Male – White fitted T-shirt, black shorts, black track/jazz pants, or black bike shorts, black socks and black jazz shoes. Students joining our Academy for summer may use a solid colored t-shirt and shorts they already own.
Students may go without tights but are required to wear black or burgundy bootie shorts over their leotard.
Hip Hop Classes
Comfortable shorts & shirts (Black, gray or white t-shirt) and sneakers may be worn. Hip Hop sneakers are acceptable shoes for this class but not required in the summer.
Ballet/Contemporary Classes
Female – Solid color leotard, tights, or other close fitting dancewear and ballet shoes.
Male – Solid colored T-shirt, track/jazz pants, bike shorts or male convertible tights, or appropriate fitness clothing and ballet or jazz shoes.
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Classes
Ballet leotard and pink convertible tights. PBT is done barefoot.
Acrobatics Classes

Female – Leotard, bike shorts and/or tights, jazz or acro shoes.
Male – fitted T-shirt, bike shorts, jazz or acro shoes.
Fairy Tale Theater and Story Book Theater
We do not have a uniform requirement for these classes. Students can wear comfortable clothing they can move in… shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, etc. Please no flip flops.
Please make sure to label any removable clothing (jackets, sweaters, etc.) with your child’s name and phone number. Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please have your child leave any expensive electronic devices at home in an effort to keep it a distraction free learning environment.
