Cami Frick was born and raised in Maryland where she began competitively dancing at eight years old. Cami trained at a tap focused studio under top tap choreographers from Broadway shows such as “Stomp” and “Tap Dogs.” She competed tap for ten years, winning many awards. Cami later moved to Tampa to peruse her career in dance at the University of Tampa. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in Dance and a minor in Exercise Science and Sport Studies. Cami was a captain of the University of Tampa Dance Team for two years and a member for four. She has performed at many different showcases including Taps Alive and Capital Movement for tap appearances along with dance happening and dance concerts through the University of Tampa. Cami has had the opportunity to choreograph multiple pieces in her college career including tap and contemporary genres, for both fall and spring dance concerts. During her time in the UT dance program, Cami grew to love performing, but also teaching. She is currently working professionally with the Busch Gardens entertainment industry as a seasonal performer. She wishes to share her love for dance with her students through creative movement and developing confident technical dancers.
