Heather is very excited to be joining the MJPAA staff! She has been teaching Music and Theater at Trinity School for Children for sixteen years. She was born and raised here in Tampa and has two sons, Styler, (10) and Archer, (6), and a four-year-old daughter, Ivy, who is a student at MJPAA. Ms. Heather earned a psychology degree at The University of Tampa and became certified to teach Music in grades Kindergarten through 12th, as well as Pre-K through 3rd grade classrooms. She played flute and piccolo for over 11 years and also plays a little piano and ukulele. Ms. Heather’s passion for performing started at two years old when she started dancing and taught dance for 13 years. She loves incorporating theatre, music and dance into her curriculum and showcasing her students’ talents at any opportunity.
