Jack Scarlett recently moved to Tampa to perform at Busch Gardens, industry events, and teach Master Classes throughout the area. A former Boston-based dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Jack has performed with professional tap companies including Drumatix, FutureSTEP, JYP, and New Jersey Tap Ensemble’s NJTap2. He was Dance Captain and featured performer at Legoland New York’s inaugural stage shows and is now a member of Tampa’s Project: Rhythm.

Jack began dancing at age 11 at his mother’s studio in St. Augustine and quickly fell in love with tap. He has trained with leading tap artists such as Derick Grant, Sarah Reich, Jason Janas, and Dianne Walker, and has assisted at national conventions including NYCDA, Nuvo, Radix, and LA Dance Magic. His teaching credits include Northeast Dance Project, Boston Conservatory, and Berklee College of Music, where he also choreographed original works for stage and film.

He is excited to bring his passion for tap and performance to MJPAA, inspiring young dancers to grow in both skill and confidence.
