
Marina Roman grew up dancing at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy, where she trained for 12 years and was a dedicated member of the Universal Movement Competitive Team, Hip Hop Crew, and the Classical Ballet of Tampa Ballet program. She has performed in every TBTTT Nutcracker production since its beginning and was among the first members of the Class Assistant Preparatory Program (CAPP). Throughout her training, Marina attended numerous dance intensives across the United States and developed a strong foundation in multiple dance styles.
After graduating from High School, Marina continued her passion for Dance at the University of Tampa. She was as a four-year member of the Spartan Scarlets Dance Team, serving as captain during her junior and senior years.
Since 2017, Marina has been sharing her love of dance with the next generation as an instructor in both the Children’s and Upper Divisions. In addition to teaching, she serves as MJPAA’s Marketing & Event Manager, helping bring the studio’s vision and community to life.
Marina is passionate about creating a positive and inspiring environment where dancers can grow both technically and personally, while experiencing the joy of movement and performance.
